There is probably no better example of a monitoring need than an IT/server room and data center environment. We all know how sensitive servers, switches, blade centers, and other network infrastructure are to temperature changes, airflow, the presence of water, and voltage fluctuations.
We invest in high-end air conditioners (sometimes not so high-end) and other equipment to keep these environments running at their best, but what if those things fail, or worse, are slowly failing.
